She's a bookish unicorn, a bit like Twilight before she made any friends. She tends to stay by herself, finding solace in the characters of her books. She's shy, but her temper does not flare up easily. She just wants to stay away from others in general, though she is friends with "Princess" Emily (another one of my characters). She is the only friend that Alex has, and she's really more of a motherly figure/mentor.
Alex is seeking to publish some books that she has written, but she is scared of criticism, so she has held off on it so far.
